Sarah Pierenkemper
German Economic Institute
Sarah works as an Economist at the German Economic Institute, where she specializes in the field of vocational education and skilled workforce. Her primary research focus is on the integration of international skilled workers and refugees into the workforce. Sarah holds a degree in business administration and business education, which she obtained from the University of Cologne, Germany. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Business and Social Education at the University of Cologne and was the managing director of the Center for Modern Indian Studies at the same university. In addition to her work at the German Economic Institute, Sarah also teaches human resource management at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
